HISTORY
Wanda F. Dionisio, born in Angola, in Huila, on 13/12/1948, is married to Alberto Dionisio, a Portuguese lawyer.
Professionally, as a Business Manager, she worked in Portugal for 30 years and managed four large companies; two Portuguese and two of foreign origin. One American and one Irish.
In 2006, while living in Angola, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was treated in Portugal and in 2007, she set up a Foundation Against Breast Cancer, to save Angolan Women, thus fulfilling the dissemination throughout the country, with all the commitment and gratitude to God, through prevention and lectures in all social areas of Angola.
In 2022, the Foundation made a Donation to the Angolan OMA Institution, which continues to work to improve Breast Cancer in Angola.

Professionally, she worked as a Business Manager in Portugal for 30 years, having managed four large companies: two Portuguese and two foreign — one American and one Irish.
In 2006, already living in Angola, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was treated in Portugal and, in 2007, founded the Foundation Against Breast Cancer, with the purpose of saving Angolan women. With commitment, gratitude to God and dedication to the cause, she took the message of prevention and awareness to all social areas of the country through lectures and community actions.
In 2022, the Foundation was donated to OMA (Angolan Women's Organization), which continues its work to improve the fight against breast cancer in Angola.

Wanda Freire Dionísio was born in the province of Huíla, in Angola, on December 13, 1948. She is married to Alberto Dionísio, a Portuguese lawyer, with whom she shares a life of dedication and commitment to others.
With a solid career as a Business Manager, Wanda lived and worked in Portugal for three decades, leading four large companies — two Portuguese and two multinationals, one American and one Irish — where she left her mark of competence, strategic vision and leadership.
In 2006, already back in her homeland, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She faced the challenge with courage and faith, being treated in Portugal. In 2007, she turned her pain into purpose: she founded the Breast Cancer Foundation, with the mission of saving and empowering Angolan women through prevention, awareness and information. Since then, she has traveled the country from north to south, promoting lectures and actions in various communities and social institutions, bringing a message of hope, health and love.
In 2022, in a gesture of continuity and trust, she donated the Foundation to OMA – Angolan Women's Organization, which today continues this vital work, contributing to improving the fight against breast cancer in Angola.
